How to remove a sub-user from your account

The sub-user removal option allows you to permanently remove a sub-user.

The difference between this option and deactivating a sub-user is that a deactivated sub-user can be re-activated later on. However, after using the removal option, the sub-user is removed permanently and CANNOT be re-activated later on.

Because of this, we suggest removing the sub-user instead of deactivating it if the sub-user will NOT be used anymore.

To remove a sub-user, press REMOVE, shown as an X, next to the sub-user you want to remove.

Once you press the X, you will see a confirmation pop-up with two options:

  • REMOVE - this will open the 2FA confirmation pop-up window and you will need to confirm the removal of the sub-user using 2FA. If several 2FA verification methods are available, another pop-up window will appear to allow you to select which verification method you want to use.

If the removal of the sub-user is successful, you will get a pop-up letting you know it was successful.

  • Cancel - this will cancel the removal of the sub-user and close the pop-up window.

You can also temporarily deactivate the sub-user instead of removing it permanently. Check this article on how to do it.
