API Key deletion.
API Key deletion option allows you to permanently delete indicated API Key.
The difference with the deactivation option is that the deactivated API Key can further on be re-activated and used again, while after using the delete option, API Key is deleted permanently and can NOT be further restored or used again.
In this regard, we suggest deleting API Key instead of deactivating it if such API Key will NOT be used anymore.
To delete your API Key, you need to press the Delete option - "X" next to the respective API Key.
Once you press the “Delete” option you’ll see the confirmation pop-up window with two options:
Delete - will open the 2FA confirmation pop-up window, where you need to confirm API Key deletion via 2FA. If several 2FA verification methods are available - an additional pop-up window will appear for the selection of the preferred confirmation method.
If you accomplish the deletion of your API Key you will see the successful pop-up window.
Cancel - will interrupt the API Key deletion process and close this pop-up window.
You can also temporarily deactivate the API Key instead of deleting it permanently. Check this article on how to do it.
