API Key activation.

After confirming the creation of API Key via SMS/OTP, you’ll be transferred to Activate API Key step. The system will provide you with API Key and API Secret. Considering API Secret is shown only once and only at this stage, please make sure to save API Secret to a safe place.

Please pay attention, that further options for immediate or postponed activation of created API Key become available only after the Client confirms saving of shown API Secret via a relevant checkbox.

After enabling the checkbox there would be available options for activation of API Key:

  • “ACTIVATE” button - proceed to activation step;

  • “ACTIVATE LATER” button - to temporarily skip activation step (API Key would be created but not activated). If API Key was created but not activated or if API Key has been deactivated for any reasons, such API Key can still be activated further on.

For activation of created API Key in the Two-Factor Authentication pop-up window, you need to enter the verification code sent to the Client’s registered Email address. In case you didn’t get the Email verification code after 2 minutes “Resend” option becomes available to request a new verification code.

Please pay attention, the verification code sent to the registered Email will expire in 5 minutes. In this case, you need to request a new verification code.

After the API Key activation, you will get a successful pop-up message.

Activation of inactive API Key.

For activation of inactive API Key, you need to press the "Activate" button next to the respective API Key.

Once the button is pressed, the pop-up window with API Key information will appear you will be given two options:

  • Activate - will open the 2FA confirmation pop-up window, where you need to confirm API Key activation via 2FA.

  • Activate Later, which will close this pop-up window.

After the API Key activation, you will get a successful pop-up message.

Well, we have successfully activated our API Key, let's check how to edit WebSocket/REST API Key in the following article.
